Green Hop Fuggle ESB Limited Edition 

That oh so special time of the year - Green Hop!

This year we chose the classic Fuggle hop to take centre stage for our green hop beer and the result is a 5% Extra Special | Strong Bitter (ESB). Fuggle is the quintessential English hop, revered and widely used by breweries up and down the UK.  The Fuggle hops, all 90kgs, were added to the kettle within 4 hours of being harvested at Hukins hops in Tenterden. The result is a rich copper colour beer with a robust and balanced malt bill, giving way to slight earthy and spicy notes with a delicate caramel and toffee aroma, finishing with a wonderful resinous mouthfeel synonymous with green hop beers.
